Bordentown Regional High School Thespians Collect 3657 Pounds Of Donations During Annual "Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat" Food Drive

(BORDENTOWN, NJ) -- On Halloween, instead of asking for candy, the theatre students of Bordentown Regional High School went door to door gathering food donations for those in need. This year, the BRHS International Thespian Society Troupe 6803 collected 3657 pounds of canned and dry goods for St. Mary's Food Pantry through their 2025 Trick Or Treat So Kids Can Eat Food Drive, more than doubling their original goal of 1500 pounds.



44th Bi-Annual New Jersey Film Festival to Take Place January 23 to February 22, 2026

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The 44th Bi-Annual New Jersey Film Festival will take place on select Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between January 23-February 22, 2026. The Festival will be a hybrid one as it will be presented online as well as doing in-person screenings at Rutgers University.



Monmouth University Strikes A New Chord With Endowed Scholarship Honoring Thom Bell and David Steinberg

(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- The creation of the David J. Steinberg and Thomas R. Bell Endowed Scholarship, will hit all the right notes at Monmouth University. It will be an eternal tribute to two men whose friendship and collaboration in Philadelphia composed one of the most enduring harmonies in American R&B/Soul music history. The purpose of this scholarship is to keep their melody alive through the voices of students.

(UNION, NJ) -- American Theater Group (ATG) is presenting Thornton Wilder's Our Town, currently running at the DMK Theater at the new Union Arts Center through November 2. The production moves to the Sieminski Theater in Basking Ridge from November 6-9, 2025. All photographs were taken by Montclair, NJ-based photographer Yvonne Duck.



StocktonPAC presents "Black Angels Over Tuskegee"

(GALLOWAY, NJ) -- A dramatic play inspired by the stories of the first African American aviators in the U.S. Army's Air Force will be presented on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Stockton University's Performing Arts Center. Written and directed by Layon Gray, Black Angels Over Tuskegee tells the story of six men who, despite Jim Crow-era inequality, exhibited courage and patriotism and formed a brotherhood. Showtime is 7:30pm.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

A beloved musical since its premiere in 1967, Clark Gesner brings Charles M. Schulz's "PEANUTS" characters to the stage. The musical ventures through the highs and lows of young life, from baseball and homework to young love and friendship. With an empathetic and whimsical eye, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown reminds us of the importance of connection and joy.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
