Trilogy Repertory Presents “Bye Bye Birdie” at Pleasant Valley Park

(BASKING RIDGE, NJ) -- As the first show in Bernards Township’s “Plays in the Park” summer series, Trilogy Repertory Company will produce the popular musical Bye, Bye, Birdie with performances July 14-16 and July 21-23 at the outdoor amphitheater at Pleasant Valley Park, Valley Road, in Basking Ridge, at 8 PM each evening. Set in 1958, the story involves rock singer Conrad Birdie (Alex Ridder) who travels to Sweet Apple, Ohio, to make his farewell performance for The Ed Sullivan Show and kiss his biggest fan, Kim MacAfee (Ally Vikovic), before he is drafted.

Bob Burger to Have Album Release & Video Shoot at The Saint

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Bob Burger will celebrate the release of his latest album, The Domino Effect at The Saint in Asbury Park on Tuesday, July 12th. He will be joined by several of his friends to shoot a music video for the track "Pain In The Ass" from the new album. Doors are at 7:00pm.  Admission is free, so come out to celebrate his first album in a decade and be part of the video!



Newark Museum of Art presents Broadway in the Bricks on Friday

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Broadway in the Bricks is a live performance series that brings Broadway’s best and brightest talents to Newark. It returns live on stage Friday, July 8 at The Newark Museum of Art with a special “Jazz Night” honoring Broadway musicals from the 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. Showtime is 7:00pm.








Riverside Gallery To Host Group Exhibition Of Four Artists

(HACKENSACK, NJ) -- The Riverside Gallery will host a special group exhibition of four artists – Woon Joo Park, Tae Mo Yang, Dae Sun Hwa -Lee, Young Kyung Chung. I'm So Newark Presents 2nd Annual Community Fun Day on Saturday

(NEWARK, NJ) -- On Saturday, July 9, 2022, the nonprofit I'm So Newark (ISN) will present Community Fun Day - Honoring the Vision of Reverend Ronald B. Christian. Everyday in newspapers we read about problems in high schools for the underprivileged (African-Americans) and schools for the affluent (white). What has to be done to improve schools for the underprivileged and improve them even more for the rich. The poor kids do not let lavish funding, few special programs, poorly paid teachers and are in run down neighborhoods. What can be done to help them? What about the rich kids from affluent neighborhoods? How can those students get into Princeton, Yale, Harvard other prestigious schools? Their high schools get enormous funding, offer all the special programs you could dream of and have the highest paid teachers. Can we help them? Should we help them?



OCC Repertory Theatre Company presents "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County College Repertory Theatre Company will bring Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to the Main Stage at the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts from July 15-24. This popular and enduring musical is a family-friendly reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, and his eleven brothers. (TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.
