(MILLVILLE, NJ) -- Triple Threat Workshop presents four performances of Into the Woods at the Levoy Theatre from January 13-15, 2023. Into the Woods follows a host of fairytale characters pursuing their happily ever after: A Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the enchantment. Each must learn the responsibility of wishes that come true, the consequences of choices made in each passing moment, and ultimately the stories we choose to tell our children.
(NEW YORK, NY) -- Joe’s Pub presents Sunny Jain’s Love Force, a new theatrical piece in development and inspired by Mohandas Gandhi’s concept of satyagraha, on Saturday, January 14 at 9:30pm. Part of New York Voices, the artist commissioning program at Joe’s Pub, this show will be an intimate evening centering on the Punjabi dhol drum, blurring the lines of performer and audience in order to create a collective effervescence. Drawing from cultural tradition and rituals, the performance highlights the inequities of current social structures.

Rochelle Calhoun announced on December 19, 2022 that the McCarter Board’s Executive Committee has voted to hire veteran arts leader Susie Medak to fill the role of Interim Managing Director effective immediately. Arts Consulting Group (ACG) conducted the search to place Ms. Medak in this leadership role for McCarter.
