"I'm not sure how they're framing it," began Sirius XM radio personality Eddie Trunk with a slight laugh; "I mean, I've written a couple of books but I don't necessarily know if it's going to revolve around my books. I've written two books, "Essential Hard Rock And Heavy Metal Volume One" and "Volume Two" so, my most recent one would have been "Volume Two" which probably is about eight to ten years old at this point.



Jersey City Theater Center Presents "Cancer, Choreographed"

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Jersey City Theater Center presents Cancer, Choreographed, a cathartic and participatory emotional journey into life, death, and dance, on Wednesday, April 26 at 6:00pm. Created by Romanian choreographers Cosmin Manolescu and Cristina Lilienfeld and based on an original text written by Cătălina Florescu, the dance is an exhilarating experience in the last moments of a man dealing with breast cancer. The audience is welcomed into a special birthday celebration. The whole story unfolds into a series of performative episodes framed by an original soundtrack by Sabina Ulubeanu, a stunning visual projection by Cinty Ionescu, and live DJ-ing by Alexandros Raptis.

"Saving the Great Swamp" To Be Screened at The Morristown-Morris Township Library

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- New Jersey's Great Swamp is nestled with a 55-square-mile natural basin, about 25 miles from New York City. It is a quiet, undisturbed place which provides a home for more than 200 bird species, many mammals, and a variety of reptiles, amphibians and fish. It is also the home to one of New Jersey's largest breeding populations of Eastern Bluebirds. But it almost was lost.



Ramapo College Presents Annual Mack Brandon’s Gospel Explosion

(MAHWAH, NJ) -- Ramapo College professor Mack Brandon will be returning with his choir and band to the Berrie Center for his annual Gospel Explosion on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 8:00pm. Brandon, a music professor at Ramapo College for more than 20 years, has worked with musical legend Ben E. King, The Drifters, Average White Band, and The Supremes. His choir features the best voices from around the state, including Ramapo College students.

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.
