Author Michael Diaz-Griffith to present Book Talk for New Release, "The New Antiquarians"

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) will present Michael Diaz-Griffith in a book talk for his new release, The New Antiquarians, as part of their ART OF series on Friday, September 8 at 5:30pm.

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Clinton Hill Community Action (CHCA) and South Ward ArtsXChange proudly present A Night at the Theater on Thursday, August 24 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Mildred Helms Park, entrances on Hedden Terrace and Seymour Avenue. Get ready for a magical evening with Yendor Theater Company presents Eternal City, a play by Pia Wilson. Wilson, a Newark native, is bringing her talents home once again. She previously wrote the play Down Neck to help celebrate Newark's 350th anniversary. That play was directed by the late Rodney Gilbert, who was also the founding artistic director of the Yendor Theater Company.



Vineyard Theatre Announces 2023-24 Season

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Sarah Stern and Douglas Aibel are pleased to announce the company's upcoming 41st Season which will include two full productions. The season will begin with the world premiere of Scene Partners by John J. Caswell Jr. (Wet Brain), Vineyard Theatre's 2020-21 Paula Vogel Playwriting Award winner, directed by Tony Award winner Rachel Chavkin (Hadestown), starring two-time Academy Award winner Dianne Wiest (Bullets Over Broadway, Happy Days) and the New York City premiere of Russian Troll Farm: A Workplace Comedy by Sarah Gancher (Hundred Days, Richard Rodgers Award), directed by Tony Award winner Darko Tresnjak (A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder). Both productions will open at Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street).



The Black Box to present Sam Shepard plays, including U.S. Premiere of "Little Ocean"

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Swedish singer-songwriter Alexandra Jardvall will headline the Endo Warrior Benefit Show at Asbury Lanes on Sunday, September 10, 2023. The music begins at 2:00pm and also includes performances by New Jersey artists Jake Thistle and Chris Fritz. The benefit is presented by Spring-Nuts and will raise awareness and funds for Endometriosis Research and the Endometriosis Foundation of America.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
