Northern New Jersey Community Foundation to Celebrate 25th Anniversary With a Game Show Program Featuring Improv Comedy Group, Howdy Stranger

(HACKENSACK, NJ) -- The Northern New Jersey Community Foundation (NNJCF) will hold its 25th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Aura Restaurant & Bar, located at 159 Main Street in Hackensack, New Jersey. The festivities feature a cocktail reception with appetizers, a wine/beer open bar, an interactive game-show style awards ceremony emceed by Ryan Huban from the professional improv group, Howdy Stranger, and a New Jersey trivia contest. The celebration's net proceeds will help support the Foundation's work in the arts, creative placemaking, environmental protection, civic engagement, public health and local education in North Jersey communities.

Pioneer Productions presents "Lost In Yonkers" by Neil Simon

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Pioneer Productions is bringing Neil Simon's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning comedy, Lost in Yonkers to the stage at Fellowship Hall in the Morristown Methodist Church in downtown Morristown, NJ. The show will have six performances between October 27 and November 5, 2023. Pioneer co-founder Daniel Peter Vissers of Sparta directs this beautifully crafted coming-of-age story set in 1942 in Yonkers, New York.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
