Music At Bunker Hill Presents A Festival of Strings Live Concert On May 22nd

(SEWELL, NJ) -- Music at Bunker Hill, in partnership with The Music Barn, presents A Festival of Strings on May 22 at 2:30pm at The Music Barn (5/23 Online at 2:30pm). This concert brings together the works of composers Johannes Brahms and Max Bruch, contemporaries and friends, and reunites alumni from The Perlman Music Program, who are thrilled to explore this beautiful segment of the Romantic Era repertoire.

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- On Sunday, May 23 at 4:00pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) will broadcast a virtual concert programmed with Jessie Montgomery’s lively Strum leading into the heartfelt works of Edward Elgar’s Sospiri, Op. 70, and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings in C Major, Op. 48. The concert will be conducted by Edward T. Cone Music Director Rossen Milanov.

Pilsener Haus & Biergarten Present Inaugural “Rock the Haus” Music Festival In Hoboken May 21-23

(HOBOKEN, NJ) --  Pilsener Haus & Biergarten will kickoff its Summer with three days of music, food, and drinks at its Hoboken location.  The festival called “Rock the Haus” will take place Friday through Sunday, May 21-23.  Grand Street will be closed between 15th and 16th streets and turned into a summer stage and outdoor concert festival for the weekend.

Matt O’Ree Band Begins 2021 Redo Tour Promoting New Singles

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Blues rockers, Matt O’Ree and Eryn will be hitting the road starting in Tuscarawas, OH, making stops across the country including in Red River, New Mexico for the annual memorial motorcycle rally. Then the band will tour back across country and end in Cadiz, Ohio. Chelsie Lim Of Cresskill Wins Grand Prize At Philadelphia International Music Festival

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- The prestigious Philadelphia International Music Festival awarded $25,000 in scholarships and performance opportunities to twelve young musicians who took the top spots in PIMF’s semi-annual Online Concerto Competition. The Grand Prize Winner is 16-year-old cellist Chelsie Lim of Cresskill, NJ.

Princeton Boychoir Presents Spring Concert "Journey On"

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Boychoir’s spring concert, Journey On, will premiere on Saturday June 5 at 7:00pm. There will be an encore performance on Sunday June 6 at 4:00pm. Both performances will be streamed on Westrick Music Academy’s YouTube channel. In lieu of tickets, there is a suggested donation of $10, but any amount is greatly appreciated.

New Jersey Youth Symphony Showcases Experimental Technology In May 15 Online Concert

(NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ) -- The New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS), a program of the Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts, will livestream a free concert from the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown on Saturday, May 15 at 7:00pm on WhartonArts.tv. Featuring the NJYS Youth Symphony led by Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Helen H. Cha-Pyo and with the support of the League of American Orchestras’ Futures Fund, NJYS will partner with Nokia Bell Labs to experiment with two-way communication at the concert. C4C, a technology that turns audience members’ phones into speakers, will enable concertgoers to become part of the performance.
