New Jersey Youth Chorus Embarks on European Tour

(NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ) -- The New Jersey Youth Chorus (NJYC), a program of Wharton Arts, will have 30 choristers from its premier ensembles, Coriste directed by Trish Joyce and Camerata directed by Dan Malloy, tour Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands, from June 27 to July 6, 2025.



State Theatre New Jersey presents Straight No Chaser - SUMMER: The 90's

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents Straight No Chaser – SUMMER: The 90's Part 2 on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 7:30pm. Featuring their twist on 90s classics like Lisa Loeb's "Stay (I Missed You)," "Everybody" by Backstreet Boys, "Linger" from The Cranberries, and Santana's "Maria Maria," Straight No Chaser brings audiences of all ages back to a simpler time, one unafraid of bright neons, loud prints, and cool boy bands.
 



Visual Arts Center of New Jersey Receives Grant Award from The Summit Foundation

​​​​​​​(SUMMIT, NJ) -- The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey (VACNJ) was recently awarded a $12,000 grant by The Summit Foundation to help fund outreach programs with Summit area nonprofits serving seniors, adults with disabilities, and underserved youth.



Ellarslie Open 42 Awards Prizes to 10 Exhibiting Artists; Exhibition On View Until September 7th

(TRENTON, NJ) -- Ten of 119 exhibiting artists received awards during the Artists and Members Reception for Ellarslie Open 42 on Saturday, June 21 at the Trenton City Museum. The 2025 edition of the annual juried exhibition showcases 124 diverse works by artists of the greater Trenton and Bucks County areas and throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York – and one from North Carolina.

Robert Harling's original play comes to Bell Theater at Bell Works this summer with a starry cast of Broadway icons, including Charlotte D'Amboise, Amy Spanger, Nancy Opel, and Kathy Fitzgerald. This production of Steel Magnolias runs at Bell Theater at Bell Works in Holmdel from July 25 through August 10, 2025.
