(WEEHAWKEN, NJ) -- United Children's Music Project (UCMP) will bring the fiery rhythms of the Ricardo Sánchez Flamenco Trio to their next Latin Night Thursdays on March 26, 2026 at UCMP's program space in Weehawken. Showtime is 7:30pm.
Held the last Thursday of each month through May 2026, Latin Night Thursdays brings together music lovers, artists, and community members for unforgettable evenings celebrating the vibrant spirit and diverse traditions of Latin music — all in support of UCMP's low-cost music education programs for Hudson County children and youth.
On Thursday, March 26th, the Ricardo Sánchez Flamenco Trio – Ricardo Sánchez (guitar), Ernesto Llorens (violin), and Jeremy Smith (percussion) – will ignite UCMP's intimate program space with the fire of flamenco! (They proudly welcome back violinist Ernesto Llorens, a former teaching artist with UCMP's after school music program.) This dynamic trio redefines classic flamenco through a bold fusion of traditional rhythms, contemporary influences, and original compositions.
Between sets, DJ Sumeet will keep the energy high with music for dancing, creating a festive atmosphere that extends beyond the stage. Guests can expect an up-close, high-energy concert experience that blends world-class artistry with cultural connection—an offering rarely found in such an intimate community setting.
