(CLIFTON, NJ) -- The Theater League of Clifton will stage productions of Christmas carols and traditional holiday music at two venues: on Saturday, December 2, 7:30pm at Grace Church (45 Hazel Street) and Sunday, December 3, 4:00pm at Living Hope Presbyterian Church (303 Maplewood Avenue). Both churches are located in Clifton.

Music will be performed by Dorothy Dobkowski, Mingo Long, Kim Mesiti, Jason Tamashausky, led by musical director and Clifton resident Jalmari Vanamo, who also serves as the vice president of the Theater League.

Local patrons will recognize the all-star vocal quartet, all of whom performed to rave reviews last August at the musical revue, “A Toast to Broadway,” which was held at the Clifton Arts Center. The ensemble is now affectionately known as “The Jalm Experience” as a tribute to the musical director.

Tickets for the fund-raiser are priced at $45 in advance for adults, and $50 at the door. Tickets for children under 12 are priced at $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets may be reserved by phone (973-928-7668); online via the Theater League’s website; or regular mail—payment by check only. The Theater League’s mailing address is: PO Box 4072, Clifton, NJ 07012. Seating for the performances at both venues is on a first come, first serve basis (no advanced seating reservations).

Mark Peterson is the president of the Theater League of Clifton. Founded in 2005, the group is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering an appreciation of the arts through theatrical performances, while providing quality entertainment for all ages. The Theater League welcomes volunteers in all aspects of performance and production.
