
(WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ) -- The Road Company presents Jesus Christ Superstar from across three weekends from April 23 to May 9, 2026. A global phenomenon that has wowed audiences for decades, this timeless musical is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events, but seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. It features Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Lyrics by Tim Rice.
Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire.
The iconic 1970s rock score contains such well-known numbers as “Superstar,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” and “Gethsemane.”
The cast includes: Vinnie DiFilippo (Jesus), Craig Bazan (Judas), Gabriella Velez (Mary Magdaline), Ed Ippolito (Pilate), Ed Ferrell (Herod), Steve Phillips (Caiaphas), Branche (Annas Mark), Edwin Ceballos (Priest 2/Apostle), Scott Angehr (Priest 3/Apostle), Ben Weidner (Simon), Kates Gouild (Peter Nasir), Will Young (Apostle), Evan Schmidlin (Apostle), Jaxson Borden (Apostle), Peter Mintel (Apostle), Karly Jeffers (Maid by Fire/Ens), Brielle Palermo (Soul Girl/Ens), Nora Paller (Soul Girl/Ens), Ava Santiago (Soul Girl/Ens), Ava DiFilippo (Ensemble), Julia Hahn (Ensemble), and Gabriella Morgan (Ensemble).
Performances take place Thursdays at 7:30pm; Fridays at 8:00pm; Saturdays at 8:00pm; and Sundays at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. The theater is located at 405 S. Main Street in Williamstown, New Jersey.
