(LEONIA, NJ) -- The Leonia Chamber Musicians Society, Inc. presents "Romance in the Air" on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at the Presbyterian Church in Leonia. The concert will reflect a Valentine's Day theme of delight and passion. This is the second concert of the Leonia Chamber Musicians' three concert series. Showtime is 3:00pm.
Member and Flutist of the society, Theresa Norris, will be featured in the wonderfully melodic Friedrich Ernst Fesca Flute Quartet. She will be joined by Janey Choi, violin and Beth Robin, piano to play the sensuous Deux Interludes by Jacques Ibert. Guest artists Ellen DePasquale, violin and Julie Goodale, viola will join members Janey Choi, violin, Daryl Goldberg, cello and Beth Robin, piano to close the program with the great Piano Quintet of César Franck.
Admission is free for all concerts. A donation of $25 at the door is suggested. The Presbyterian Church in Leonia is located at 181 Fort Lee Road in Leonia, New Jersey.
The final concert of the season - "Gems from the 20th Century" - will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 3:00pm at the Presbyterian Church in Leonia. This concert will include music by Venezuelan composer Teresa Carreño and a suite of five numbers from Igor Stravinsky's L'Histoire du soldat.
This program is made possible in part by a grant administered by the Bergen County Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs from funds granted by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Additional funding for the programs comes from the Blackbaud Giving Fund, Frank and Lydia Bergen Foundation, Leonia Community Chest and private donations.
The Leonia Chamber Musicians Society, Inc., a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, enriches the cultural environment of the community by presenting a series of high quality and accessible chamber music concerts. Society members live in Leonia and generate the excitement of a live performance with professional talent. They all perform in the major concert halls of New York City as well as teach and perform throughout the New York City area and the state of New Jersey.
