(LAKE HOPATCONG, NJ) -- The Last Dash of 2023 for Vets 5K will take place on December 31, 2023 in Lake Hopatcong. Join them for one last dash to end the year. Run, walk, or SHINE your way to the finish. Help raise money to help our New Jersey Vets. Medal for all finishers. The race begins at 10:00am.
The course is a scenic route alongside Lake Shawnee in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Expect lakeview, nature in all it's beauty, and some rolling hills to finish off the year.
Proceeds will go to benefit Community Hope. This cause is near to their heart as their co-founder Dan Malloy is a US Navy Veteran. Community Hope offers resources and support for Veterans including but not limited to suicide prevention, supportive services for veterans and their families, and a facility with 96 beds for New Jersey Homeless Vets.
