The Adelphi Orchestra Chamber Ensemble to Perform on November 23rd

(RIVER EDGE, NJ) -- The Adelphi Orchestra continues its 72nd season of "Music for All" with a upcoming chamber concert on Sunday, November 23, 2025 featuring the Adelphi Orchestra Chamber Ensemble in a program highlighting masterworks by Mozart and Schubert. It takes place at Community of Saint John Baptist; showtime is 4:00pm. Admission is free, with registration encouraged.

The ensemble, consisting of acclaimed members Laura Hamilton (violin), Sylvia Rubin (violin), Francesca Silos (viola), Lanny Paykin (cello), Lewis Paer (bass),  Janet Montroy (piano), will perform Mozart's Quartet for Strings, K 465 "Dissonance", and Schubert's Quintet for Piano and Strings in A major,  "Trout".

The performance takes place at Community of Saint John Baptist (82 W Main Street) in Mendham Township, New Jersey.  For more details or to register, click here.

Celebrating over 22 years of musical excellence, the Adelphi Orchestra is a professional, non-profit ensemble known for its symphonic, chamber, operatic, choral, and dance performances. The orchestra has been a longtime supporter of young talent, hosting the prestigious Young Artist Competition and Young Artist Concerts. A six-time finalist for the Jersey Arts People's Choice Award, the Adelphi Orchestra is an esteemed member of Opera America and The Symphony Orchestra League. As one of northern New Jersey's longest-running orchestras, it remains a vital part of the state's vibrant cultural landscape.
