(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- In March 2023, 20 Bands and a podcast got together in Austin, TX for a weekend of live music (and a live podcast) in the time surrounding SXSW. On Sunday, September 10, 2023, musicians from 5 of the bands get back together at La Vision Studio in Asbury Park, NJ for a miniature Ska Punk International (SPI) Mini Fest.
Hans Gruber and the Die Hards join the lineup on their "They Live Laugh Love Tour." Menacingly fun, Hans Gruber and the Die Hards brand of punk/ska mashes genres together like a toddler eating chocolate cake – with messy intensity for maximum enjoyment. From Boston hardcore to Colombian cumbia, southern gospel to crossover thrash, their live shows are filled with pits, sock puppets, and conga lines.
They are joined by Joker's Republic, Take Today, Mega Infinity, and Indica in Decay.
The one day event lines up with Mega Infinity and Indica in Decay on tour. Mega Infinity is touring ahead of their fall release on Ska Punk International. NJ natives Joker's Republic just rereleased their album Necessary Evil on vinyl with Ska Punk International.
