Six Flags Great Adventure presents Holiday in the Park

(JACKSON, NJ) -- Six Flags Great Adventure's enchanting winter festival, Holiday in the Park, will return for its tenth season and bring the magic of the holidays to life. The event will run weekends and select days from November 23, 2024 through January 1, 2025 and transform the park into a dazzling winter wonderland featuring themed areas, festive entertainment and delightful seasonal treats. Access to Holiday in the Park is included with active season passes and single-day tickets.

“We’re thrilled to deliver a unique blend of world-class rides, shimmering lights, holiday décor and festive treats to our guests, offering families a destination where cherished memories are made year after year,” said Brian Bacica, park president. “The tradition of Holiday in the Park truly immerses families in the warmth and joy of the holiday season.”

Highlights of the 2024 Holiday in the Park Season Include:

* NEWTreeditions– This heartwarming spectacle will bring a family of musicians together to share their cherished holiday memories;

* NEWThe Jinglettes – Singers will transport you to a winter wonderland through holiday favorites;

* Holiday Magic: A Celebration of the Season & A Holiday Wish List – Every 30 minutes, experience the park’s iconic five-story tree as it lights up with a dazzling light show;

* Candy Cane Crew – Be amazed as skilled jugglers light up the holiday season, spreading joy with their spectacular performances;

* Rudolph’s Regiment – This beloved roaming symphony fills the park with festive tunes, keeping the holiday spirit alive;

* Jolly Light Show – Stroll along a glowing pathway where trees dance in sync with festive holiday music;

* Storytime with Mrs. Claus – Come gather as Mrs. Claus delights guests of all ages with cherished holiday tales;

* Photos with Santa – Meet and take a photo with Santa through Dec. 23—perfect for capturing holiday memories; and

* Meet and Greets with Festive Friends – Holiday queens, kings and princesses pose with guests throughout the park as they celebrate the season with holiday cheer.

Seasonal Flavors & Dining Experiences

New treats and the season’s favorite flavors await guests:

* Granny’s Holiday Feast – Enjoy nostalgic comfort foods like glazed ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pies;

* Central Brewhouse – Savor dishes such as stout pot roast and cheddar mac and cheese;

* Holiday Treats – Spiked egg nog, holiday-inspired cocktails, peppermint fudge, seasonal beers and festive funnel cakes are just a few of the delicious seasonal treats available; and

* Holiday Fire Pits – Gather around one of the fire pits to warm up with hot cocoa and roast s’mores (weather permitting).



Holiday Food Drive - Opening weekend of Holiday in the Park, November 23-24, Great Adventure will host a holiday food drive to collect non-perishable food items for those in need. Guests are encouraged to bring donations to benefit FULFILL, the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, which serves 300 local food pantries and soup kitchens in the region. Donations will be collected at the main gate prior to entry. Requested items include canned goods, shelf stable milk, hot and cold cereals, fruit juice and pancake mix.

American Theater Group, Union Arts Center and New Jersey Creative Arts Collaborative present Juneteenth Celebration

(UNION, NJ) -- American Theater Group (ATG), in partnership with the New Jersey Creative Arts Collaborative (NJCAC) and the new Union Arts Center will present Juneteenth: A Celebration of Liberation at the DMK Stage at the Union Arts Center (1980 Morris Avenue) in Union on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 7:00pm. It will be an inspirational evening of music, dance, poetry, and more.

2025 Princeton Festival to Take Place June 6-21

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) has announced its performance line-up for this year's Princeton Festival, New Jersey's premier performing arts festival, taking place June 6-21, 2025 on the beautiful grounds of Morven Museum & Garden. The performing arts showcase includes chart-topping hits of music icons, superstar soprano Renée Fleming, songs by Sondheim, a tumultuous opera by Giacomo Puccini, an evening of dance, music of Vivaldi and the Motor City, plus a joy-filled finale featuring the music of ABBA. A Baroque concert and violin recital take place at nearby Trinity Church.

SSAAM presents Juneteenth 2025: Stories of Freedom

(SKILLMAN, NJ) -- The Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum (SSAAM), Central New Jersey's only museum sharing the history of African Americans in our region since the trans-Atlantic Slave trade, will hold its fourth annual Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The event runs from 12:00pm to 4:00pm (rain or shine).

Boots & BBQ Festival Fundraiser for Our Stable Life

(LEONIA, NJ) -- Grab your boots & hat and head on down to Bergen Equestrian Center located at Overpeck Park for a Boots & BBQ Festival presented by Discover Line Dance on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 5:00pm-9:00pm. This is a fundraiser for Our Stable Life which is Bergen Equestrian’s Equine Therapy Program and is $25 per person (kids under 12 are free.) All proceeds to benefit "Our Stable Life."

The David Drumgold Pride Variety Show to Return to The Puffin Cultural Forum

(TEANECK, NJ) -- To commemorate Pride month, The David Drumgold Variety Show returns to Teaneck's Puffin Cultural Forum for a special one-night-only Pride edition on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 7:00pm. The show hearkens back to the variety shows of the 60s & 70s, like The Carol Burnett Show, The Flip Wilson Show, and The Cher Show, offering good old-fashioned talent, cheer, and escapism.
