Riverside Gallery presents the K-DO AHA (Art Humanity And) 2024 Group Exhibition

(HACKENSACK, NJ) -- Riverside Gallery presents the K-DO AHA (Art Humanity And) 2024 Group Exhibition and Seminar with the theme of "Eco-feminist Art in Korea" from March 28 to April 4, 2024. The participating artists are Cho, Onn-young; Ha, Insun; Hong, Yunoh; Hwang, Euisun; Hwang, Mikyung; Kim, Eunhee; Lee, Eunmi; Lee, Jinyeo; Lee, Sang-ho; Lee, Yeul; Mun, Keumhi; Park, AdJong; RichieJ; Shin, HyunKyoung; and Yu, Jaejoong.

The exhibition and the seminar will focus on the Eco-feminist art in Korea and expand upon the global nature and meaning of Korean art in the age of Hallyu, which means the “Korean Wave.” A frequent theme among the artists is the power and the importance of nature to humanity and the environmentalist message against the destruction of nature by humans. Other artists deal with the concepts of identity and idealistic fantasy. 50 artworks will be on view at the gallery.

A seminar and opening reception will be held on March 28 from 1:30pm to 8:00pm. More specifically, the seminar will consist of 3 parts, which are Media, Art, and Conversation with artists. Media and Art will run from 1:30pm to 5:00pm, and the Conversation with artists will begin at 5:00pm and end at 6:00pm. The event will culminate with an opening reception from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

An Interview with Jim Loughlin of moe.
