(BOUND BROOK, NJ) -- Registration for the Brook Arts Center Summer Theater Camp is now open. Their 2022 program offers two full-day three-week sessions, July 11-29, and August 1-19. Weekdays 9:00am to 3:00pm. Camp Brook is designed to provide a fun creative experience for students entering grades third - 10th in the Fall of 2022, who are interested in exploring the wonders of theater.
Their experienced staff has designed a fun theater program that will develop self-confidence, self-expression, and creativity and teach students to work as a team. Campers will explore their imaginations and creativity through theater games, pantomime, role-playing, and improvisation. Discover their talents using skits and short plays. In both sessions, our staff will introduce all facets of theatre production from acting techniques and performance to scenic design, lighting, and sound design, property management, costume design, and scriptwriting.
Students will learn all the elements to create a product from the start to opening night. After three amazing weeks, they will perform in a Camp Brook showcase production on the historic Brook Theater stage! No auditions are necessary, everyone is welcome! The program is a wonderful way to try something new and meet new friends!
