
(RED BANK, NJ) -- GODSPELL is a timeless rock musical based on the Gospel of St. Matthew. Written in 1971 by John-Michael Teblak and Stephen Schwartz and revived on Broadway in 2012, it tells the story of Jesus' ministry and Passion through parables, clowning, dance and music. It is being performed by members of The Red Bank Regional Theatre Company and is directed by Reuben Jackson at Red Bank Regional High School from March 31st through April 3rd.
The cast includes Ray Faiella (Jesus); Jack Schutzenhofer (Judas / John the Baptist); Sydney Spencer (Celisse); Rebecca Roth (Uzo); Simone Mason (Telly); Charley Novara (Morgan); Jackie Rogers (Anna Maria); Anna Musumeci (George); Sean Busk (Nick); and Kendall Thorner (Lindsey).

The mission of The Red Bank Regional Theatre Company is to produce professional, world-class theatre in an academic environment that matches other theatres in Monmouth County as well as the other regional high school theater programs in the area. Professionals in the industry work with students at Red Bank Regional to create the most compelling artistically relevant theatre possible. Each year the RBRTC competes in the prestigious Basie Awards sponsored by The Basie Arts Center in Red Bank, New Jersey.
