Radio City Organist, George Wesner, to Perform at The Barrymore Film Center

(FORT LEE, NJ) -- The Barrymore Film Center will come alive from floor to rafters on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 2:30pm, when George Wesner, principal organist at Radio City Music Hall, performs a concert of classics, show music, and standards on the theater’s recently-acquired Allen organ.

“I am so thrilled to be among the first to perform on this marvelous instrument,” Wesner enthused. “We hope you will join us for an afternoon of warmth and laughter.”

George Wesner has been a fixture at Radio City for over 40 years and has played over 6,000 shows for more than 28 million people. He has appeared with the American Symphony Orchestra and world premiere film events for Disney, Universal Studios, 20th Century Fox, the Grammy Awards and PBS TV.
