PHOTOS from Rodrigo y Gabriela at NJPAC

Rodrigo y Gabriela, the metal-loving duo from Mexico City inspired by both flamenco and hard rock, performed at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Friday, April 15, 2022 and photographer John Posada was on hand to get some shots.

Deep-rooted fans who discovered Rodrigo y Gabriela through their 2006 self-titled breakout album have long recognized the Mexicans’ mastery of their instruments. Rodrigo’s shimmering, hummingbird flourishes hovering over Gabriela’s extraordinary engine room rhythm section are a staple for the duo.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), located at One Center Street in downtown Newark, N.J., is America’s most diverse performing arts center, and the artistic, cultural, educational and civic center of New Jersey – where great performances and events enhance and transform lives every day.
