(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre is presenting their spring musical, Hello Dolly! weekends until May 21.  Jerry Herman's energetic Hello, Dolly! is a musical filled with charisma and with heart. Photographer John Posada was on hand to take photos.

Matchmaker Dolly Levi is a widow, a matchmaker, and also a professional meddler - but everything changes when she decides that the next match she needs to make is to find someone for herself. Set in New York City at the turn of the century, Hello Dolly! is boisterous and charming from start to finish. Full of humor, romance, and exquisite dancing, Hello Dolly! is the classic that everyone needs to see.

The cast includes Lynne Truex (Dolly), Mark S. Megill (Horace), Edward Itte (Cornelius), Nicholas Lutz (Barnaby), Jessica O'Brien (Irene), Sydney Katz (Minnie Fay), Charles Thomas Hughes (Ambrose), Sienna Valentino (Ermengarde), Jaclyn Itte (Ernestina Money/Ensemble), Joseph Paglino (Rudolph), John Albrecht (Judge/Ensemble), Lauren Friedman (Mrs. Rose / Ensemble), Martin Weiss (Clerk / Ensemble), and Benjamin Neller (Ensemble / Rehearsal Stage Manager).

The Ensemble also includes Immanuel Archilla, Gavin Bailey, Cole Bartolotti, Joshua Beaudoin, Carolena Blasucci, Christie Denicola, Joanna Douglas, Reese Figueiredo, David J. Fretz, Kyra Griggs, Jessie Heitmann, Alyssa Kiselev, Danielle Manzoni, Danny Marks, Michael C. Olender, Adeline O'Mara, Avery Patella, Shea Preston, and Carl Sterling Smith.

The production has two weekends left with performances on Friday, May 12 at 8:00pm; Saturday, May 13 at 8:00pm; Sunday, May 14 at 3:00pm; Saturday, May 20 at 2:00pm & 8:00pm; and Sunday, May 21 at 3:00pm.  Premium Tickets: $43 Adult, $40 Senior, $34 Student 4 & up. Regular tickets: $35 Adult, $32 Senior, $26 Student 4 & up. Tickets are available for purchase online.

(CRANFORD, NJ) -- The Theater Project's 2026 New Play Readings series will present a staged reading of Jack McGrath's House Rules on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Cranford Community Center's 110-seat theater. The play tells the story of Bobby Ray – a man who has walked across America to return "home" to try and avert a family tragedy. The problem is that the family he returns to refuses to recognize him, and his homecoming has come 10 years too late.
