Pebble Players Youth Theater presents "Mean Girls"

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Pebble Players Youth Theater opens their season at the Oakes Center with Mean Girls High School Version across two weekends from November 10-19, 2023. It’s literally so fetch! Don’t miss this fun show that will knock your pink socks off! Based on Tina Fey’s hit film, Mean Girls in 2004, the creators of this Broadway show didn’t miss a beat! You will be mesmerized by these charming but ruthless plastics!

A trio of lionized females who rule the school, and take Cady, a girl who grew up on an African savanna under their wing. But don’t be fooled by the pink, if Cady thought living in the wild was dangerous, try the suburbs of Illinois! How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? Watch her devise a plan and learn the hard way, you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung! Filled with a fun rock musical score, we dare you not to get up and dance in the aisles. Oh…and Don’t forget to wear pink!

Performances take place November 10-12 and November 17-19 with performances Friday and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm.  Tickets are available for purchase online. This show will sell out so don’t wait to purchase your seats now.

They recommend an age restriction of 10 years or older due to some of the content.

Pebble Players is located at the Oakes Center, 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, New Jersey. They are focused on serving the youth community of Summit while extending to Union, Essex, Morris, Somerset, and Middlesex Counties.

"RIFT" Returns To Luna For Two Nights Only Before International Debut At Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre

(WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Luna Stage's commissioned World Premiere play RIFT is headed to the Edinburgh Fringe for a four-week run at Traverse Theatre this August. On July 18-19, 2025 at 8:00pm each night, the powerful and timely new play returns to Luna for two benefit performances to support the company's travel to Scotland.

(WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Pleasant Valley Productions (PVP) is presenting Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's iconic rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar at the Oscar Schindler Performing Arts Center (OSPAC). The production runs July 11-12 and July 17-19, 2025. This groundbreaking musical, which revolutionized the world of theatre, tells the story of the final week of Jesus' life through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.
