(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- October Ensemble presents TWISTED: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier across two weekends (October 18-20 and October 25-27, 2024) at the Jersey Shore Arts Center's Café Theatre. Hop on your flying carpet, because this musical parody retells the classic tale of Aladdin... from the villain’s point of view! This is an R Rated "Magical Kingdom" musical parody!

Long ago in a Magic Kingdom, one misunderstood Royal Vizier will go on a quest to save his city from its bumbling sultan, an invading prince, and the most notorious thief to ever live! With the help of the Kingdom’s free-spirited, teenage Princess, the Vizier must find a magical lamp containing a wish-granting Djinn (who’s really funny, by the way) and defeat the city’s most-wanted criminal… Aladdin! This musical adventure celebrates and lovingly pokes fun at everyone’s favorite series of hand-drawn, animated films.

Performances take place Friday, October 18th at 7:00pm; Saturday, October 19th at 2:00pm & 7:00pm; Sunday, October 20th at 5:00pm; Friday, October 25th at 7:00pm; Saturday, October 26th at 2:00pm & 7:00pm; and Sunday, October 27th at 5:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. The Jersey Shore Arts Center's Café Theatre is located at 66 S Main Street in Ocean Grove, New Jersey.

This is an "R" rated show with "R" rated content. Contains explicit adult humor and language. Seriously...this show is NOT appropriate for children. Recommended age is 18+. Children under the age of 14 will NOT be permitted. You've been warned.

Bring your friend, bring your magic carpet, and bring your favorite bottle of wine or beer. This event features table seating and is BYOB! Bring your favorite wine/beer to enjoy during the performance. You must be 21+ to drink. Patrons who become overly intoxicated will be asked to leave and removed from the premises. Be Amazed by the Golden Age of Radio at the Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library
