Ocean County Library Toms River Branch to Feature Toms River Artist Community Exhibit in September

“The Peaceable Kingdom,” by Judy Goddard

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County Library Toms River Branch is pleased to present a display of creations by members of the Toms River Artist Community (TRAC), Wednesday, September 4 through Monday, September 30, 2024. The Second Floor Gallery exhibit will feature a dramatic mix of original images in oils, watercolors and photographs.

Situated in the heart of downtown Toms River, TRAC is an aggregation of local artists engaged in a broad range of styles and themes, in an equally wide variety of media. TRAC attracts thousands of followers through its website, Facebook and Instagram.

Since its founding in 2005, TRAC has enhanced the careers of many local artists through exhibits, special events and classes. The group also works with community organizations to provide creative activities.

“TRAC endeavors to create art that entertains and enlightens, while providing a creative outlet for diverse groups within the Toms River community,” said spokesperson Robert Henne.

The TRAC exhibit is free and open to the public during normal Branch operating hours. For more information, stop by the OCL Toms River Branch, 101 Washington Street, call (732) 349-6200 or visit https://theoceancountylibrary.org/events.
