originally published: 11/23/2022

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County Library has announced a concert series by Ocean County classical vocalists Dakota & Elle. The tenor-soprano duo will perform in six branches, through early February.

The classical, contemporary, and sacred music specialists serve as directing partners and board members of the Bellarine Theatre Company, Manahawkin, and Harbor Stage Theatre Company, Lacey. Their debut album, Always, can be found on several Spotify platforms and their website.

They will perform a different program at each branch. “Warm and Bright: Dakota & Elle Sing Holiday Hits” is a celebration of the season with classic songs including “Winter Wonderland,” “Hallelujah,” and “Let It Snow.” “Best of Broadway with Dakota & Elle” serves memorable tunes from plays that define great musical theater through the years. “Best of Dakota & Elle” offers  favorites from Broadway, classics, standards, and love songs. “Golden Oldies: Songs of the 50s, 60s & 70s” presents hits from three distinctive decades, delivered in the pair’s inimitable style.  “Fall in Love with Dakota & Elle” is a romantic evening of love songs in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

The duo will play concerts at the Plumsted Branch, Toms River Branch, Point Boro Branch, Brick Branch, Little Egg Harbor Branch, and Berkeley Branch.
