March/April 2026 Highlights at MPAC

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) has a ton of great shows coming this spring. March is highlighted by the return of Riverdance and The High Kings, as well as the country, Americana and blues sounds of Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. In April, there's a lot of talk going on – From satirist David Sedaris to journalist Douglas Murray to foodie Alton Brown to the storytelling of The Moth! Plus, favorites including Patti LaBelle, Tony Danza and a K-POP spectacular!

MARCH EVENTS


Curious George: The Golden Meatball Sunday, March 1 at 1:30pm & 4:30pm. Curious George, the inquisitive monkey of books, movies and the award-winning PBS television show, stars in a brand-new fun-filled musical adventure! On All-You-Can-Eat Meatball Day, George heads to Rome where he enters his friend Chef Pisghetti's meatballs in the world-famous Golden Meatball Contest, and in the process learns the secret ingredient to cooking! Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt – Together on StageWednesday, March 4, 2026 at 7:30pm. Two of our most innovative singer-songwriters share the stage as they perform individually and together. Tickets range from $79-$144 LIMITED TICKETS REMAIN.

The Simon & Garfunkel StoryThursday, March 5, 2026 at 8:00pm. The Simon & Garfunkel Story is the critically acclaimed concert-style theatre show that tells the story of two young boys from Queens who went on to become the world's most successful music duo. Using video projection and a full band, The Simon & Garfunkel Story is a moving and powerful event featuring hits such as "Mrs. Robinson," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "Homeward Bound," "The Boxer" and many more. LIMITED TICKETS REMAIN.

Riverdance 30 – The New GenerationFriday, March 6, 2006 at 8:00pm; Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 2:00pm & 8:00pm; and Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 1:00pm & 6:30pm. Since Riverdance first emerged onto the world stage, its fusion of Irish and international dance and music has captured the hearts of millions worldwide. The Grammy award-winning music and the infectious energy of its mesmerizing choreography and breathtaking performances has left audiences in awe and established Riverdance as a global cultural sensation.  To celebrate this incredible 30th year milestone, Riverdance will embark on a special anniversary tour, bringing its magic to audiences around the world. This spectacular production rejuvenates the much-loved original show with new innovative choreography and costumes and state-of-the-art lighting, projection and motion graphics. Gregorian: Pure Chants World Tour featuring Songs of EnigmaTuesday, March 10, 2026 at 7:30pm. For 25 years, Gregorian has thrilled millions of people worldwide with their choreographed shows and their ability to switch seamlessly from classical chorales to pop and rock songs. With over 2,000 shows in 36 countries and more than 10 million albums sold, Gregorian is the most successful choir in the world. Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band: Ledbetter Heights 30th Anniversary TourThursday, March 12, 2026 at 7:30pm. Kenny Wayne Shepherd has established himself as an immensely popular recording artist, a consistently in-demand live act and an influential force in a worldwide resurgence of the blues. Shepherd celebrates the 30th anniversary of his debut album, Ledbetter Heights, which established him as a dynamic new force in American blues music upon his arrival on the scene. Spyro Gyra with Special Guest Stanley JordanFriday, March 13, 2026 at 8:00pm. A double bill of contemporary jazz legends! Over the past 50 years, Spyro Gyra has performed more than 10,000 shows and released 35 albums, garnering platinum and gold records and crossover hits such as "Morning Dance" and "Shaker Song." In a career that took flight in 1985 with commercial and critical acclaim, guitar virtuoso Stanley Jordan can always be counted on to take listeners on breathless journeys into the unexpected. Dream Like Taylor: A Live Band Journey Through The Enchanted Eras of Taylor SwiftSunday, March 15, 2026 at 3:00pm. With her distinct style, legendary catalog of music, and a stage presence like no other, it's easy to see why Taylor Swift is one of today's most successful and influential artists. This tribute starring Cassie B features all of Taylor's top hits including "Shake It Off," "Blank Space," "Love Story," "You Belong With Me," "Look What You Made Me Do," "Wildest Dreams" and more! The Ten Tenors -- 30th Anniversary World Tour Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 7:30pm. Get ready, Morristown! The vocal wonders from Down Under, The Ten Tenors, are bringing their electrifying 30th Anniversary World Tour to MPAC!  Celebrated globally for their unique blend of soaring harmonies, dynamic stage presence, and genre-defying performances, The Ten Tenors deliver an unforgettable musical experience. This special anniversary show features a powerful mix of Classical Crossover, Neapolitan Classics, and Classic Rock anthems—all delivered with their trademark Aussie charm and vocal brilliance. New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players: The MikadoFriday, March 27, 2026 at 8:00pm. Don't miss this all-new, critically acclaimed restaging of The Mikado. Join Yum-Yum, Nanki-Poo, Ko-Ko, the Lord High Executioner and the rest of the cast in this revered comic operetta.  A brief new prologue frames the classic work for today's audiences. Gilbert's lyrics and Sullivan's melodies - which have delighted comic opera lovers for over one hundred thirty-five years - are still as fresh as "the flowers that bloom in the spring." Forever K-Pop – A Celebration ConcertFriday, April 3 at 7:30pm. Inspired by the worldwide K-Pop phenomenon and recent smash-hit film KPop Demon Hunters, this high-octane production brings today's biggest K-Pop hits to life on stage in a spectacle unlike anything audiences have seen in a tribute concert before. Designed as a high-energy K-pop revue, Forever K-Pop fuses electrifying vocals and choreography, bold costuming, and cinematic visuals into a dazzling live performance, capturing the pulse of the global K-pop movement while spotlighting iconic moments and breakout anthems including electrifying live singers and dancers performing songs made famous by BTS, BLACKPINK, Katseye, HUNTR/x, Saja Boys, NewJeans, and more. An Evening with David SedarisSaturday, April 4 at 8:00pm. David Sedaris is one of America's pre-eminent humor writers. He is a master of satire and one of today's most observant writers. Beloved for his personal essays and short stories, his books routinely appear on the New York Times bestseller list. Tickets range from $57-$91.

Collective SoulTuesday, April 7 at 7:30pm. With nearly three decades of hits behind them, Collective Soul remains creatively energized and united, delivering high-impact live performances that blend new material with fan-favorites such as "Shine," "December," and "The World I Know." Women of Americana: A Celebration of American MusicThursday, April 9 at 7:30pm. Join us for a heartfelt celebration of early folk, gospel, and Western swing music with Women of Americana! This isn't just a concert—it's an exuberant exploration of this expansive and singular American genre that planted the roots of American music. Featuring vocalists and instrumentalists Cristina Vane and Brennen Leigh, together they will perform iconic songs including "This Land is Your Land" (Woody Guthrie), "This Train" (Sister Rosetta Tharpe), "Just Like a Woman" (Bob Dylan), "Angel From Montgomery" (Bonnie Raitt and John Prine), "Car Wheels On a Gravel Road" (Lucinda Williams) and more! Coinciding with the upcoming Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary of the United States' founding), Women of Americana will entertain and inspire audiences at a historic moment in our nation's history. An Evening of Alton BrownFriday, April 10 at 7:30pm. Although he's keeping the details under wraps, Brown has said that with An Evening of Alton Brown he's "stirring up some twists on his greatest hits," and "spicing things up with new demonstrations, music, and slightly scaled-down mayhem."  No matter what, An Evening of Alton Brown will present Brown as you've never seen him — unless, of course, you've been invited to his house. Tickets range from $57-$230.

The MothSaturday, April 11 at 8:00pm. Experience a night of captivating true stories told live as The Moth takes five storytellers to New Jersey for back-to-back shows. The iconic storytelling podcast will feature performances at McCarter Theatre and MPAC featuring the same tellers sharing their stories back-to-back. The Moth is a nonprofit that celebrates the commonality and diversity of human experience through the art and craft of true, personal storytelling. Tickets range from $35-$91.

Patti LaBelleFriday, April 17 at 8:00pm. Beautiful simply does not describe the incomparable force known to the world as Patti LaBelle. Through the years, her name has become synonymous with grace, style, and class, with an effortless ability to belt out classic rhythm and blues, pop standards and soul, such as "Lady Marmalade," "On My Own," and "New Attitude." Tickets range from $101-$189.

Tony Danza: Standards & StoriesSaturday, April 18 at 8:00pm. Combining timeless music with wit, charm, storytelling, and a dash of soft shoe and ukulele performances, Tony Danza performs a selection of his favorite standards from the Great American Songbook while interweaving stories about his life and personal connection to the music. Tickets range from $57-$114.

The Drew Forum presents Douglas MurrayMonday, April 20 at 7:30pm. Bestselling author and journalist Douglas Murray has dedicated much of the past few years to reporting from the frontlines in Ukraine and Gaza. Murray discusses the strategic and moral imperatives for the West to secure victories in both wars, highlighting the broader implications for global stability and democracy. Beyond his war reporting, Murray offers his perspective on the recent wave of campus protests in the U.S. and shares his insights on recent and upcoming elections, discussing the key issues at stake and their potential impact on the country's future. One Night of Queen: A Tribute Performed by Gary Mullen and the WorksWednesday, April 22 at 7:30pm. Gary Mullen and the Works will rock you when they bring the music of Queen to life with note-by-note renditions of such classics as "Keep Yourself Alive," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Another One Bites The Dust," "You're My Best Friend," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and more. Tickets range from $45-$91.

The String QueensFriday, April 24 at 8:00pm. Praised for its authentic, soulful, and orchestral sound, The String Queens is a dynamic trio that creates stimulating musical experiences that inspire audiences to love, hope, feel and imagine! Along with other select repertoire, the ladies will perform original music which showcases the group's vibrant sound with fresh takes on the music of contemporary soul legends and pop icons. Menopause The Musical 2: Cruising Through 'The Change'®Thursday, April 30 at 7:30pm. All aboard, sisters! The hysterical sequel to the smash-hit Menopause The Musical® is finally here! Five years after their chance encounter in a department store, we set sail with our beloved ladies for high jinks on the high seas, in this hilarious and heartfelt look at the joys of menopause and friendship — plus hot flashes, mood swings, and memory lapses! Join us on a trip of self-discovery, backed by a new soundtrack of toe-tapping parodied hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s. For these four ladies, menopause was not the end, but the beginning of a beautiful friendship where love conquers all, and friendships never fail. Tickets range from $45-$101.

Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, presents a wide range of programs that entertain, enrich, and educate the diverse population of the region and enhance the economic vitality of Northern New Jersey. MPAC was named 2016 Outstanding Historic Theatre by the League of Historic American Theatres, and is ranked in the top 50 mid-sized performing arts centers by Pollstar Magazine.
