(HOPEWELL, NJ) -- For-profit indie venue Hopewell Theater is raising funds for local arts and youth art programs this holiday season with a Holiday Donation Drive for Artworks Trenton, a nonprofit community arts organization.

Now through December 31, Hopewell Theater patrons will have the option to add a donation of $5.00 or more to their ticket purchase online or in person at the box office. There will also be an option to donate directly by visiting  the Donation Drive webpage on Hopewell Theater’s website.

“Hopewell Theater is proud to support such a valuable arts organization this holiday season,” says Sara Scully. “This fund drive will help underwrite Artworks’ youth art education programs in Trenton and their overall mission to showcase emerging local artists.”

Artworks Trenton is a professional arts organization that promotes artistic diversity and fosters creativity, learning, and appreciation of the arts. Their goal is to make art an accessible experience for all.

Artworks Trenton’s downtown visual arts center is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Corporation. Their exhibitions, workshops, events, and public projects make art an accessible experience for all, building community among and between art students of all ages, professional and amateur artists, inner city and suburban residents, die-hard art fans and first time art appreciators.

These initiatives foster creativity and connection within the Trenton community and beyond. With the help of donors and patrons of the arts, they can provide a year-round, balanced, and engaging range of exhibitions and classes.

Hopewell Theater is equal parts indie arts venue and meeting place – a place where patrons can meet friends and get inspired by an eclectic mix of entertainment by emerging and established talent in a setting that is welcoming, casual, intimate, and fun.

This 180 seat theater features independent films, stand-up comedy, stage performances, live music, supper clubs, and other special programs.

Hopewell Theater aims to support the local creative economy by donating its stage and screen to nonprofit community cultural organizations like Hopewell Valley Arts Council, Hopewell Library, Princeton Public Library, and more for co-presented events.

The theater aims to uplift  Central NJ’s local arts and youth programs by running this year’s Holiday Donation Drive for Artworks Trenton. All donations are tax-deductible.

Tickets for all HT events can be purchased at the box office, by phone at (609) 466-1964, or on Hopewell Theater’s website. Donations can be added to ticket purchases at checkout, or made without ticket purchase on the Donation Drive webpage.

Hopewell Theater is located at 5 South Greenwood Avenue in Hopewell, New Jersey. Enjoy this fall season with your loved ones at one of the best performing arts theaters in New Jersey!
