Highland Park presents 19th Annual Arts in the Park

(HIGHLAND PARK, NJ) -- On Sunday, September 14, 2025, Highland Park presents the 19th Annual Arts in the Park - an outdoor street festival. It is a street festival, juried art show, and arts and crafts sale that runs from 11:30am to 4:30pm between 2nd and 5th Avenue.

The festival draws thousands of art enthusiasts and visitors from around the region to stroll through downtown Highland Park and enjoy artistic offerings, live music and other entertainment, food from local restaurants, children's activities, promotional booths, and much more.

Artists, crafters, performers, and vendors are invited to participate. Participants in the juried art show display and sell their work under tents along Raritan Avenue. The art show features cash awards for first, second, and third places in the following categories: Painting and 2D Mixed Media; Sculpture and 3D Mixed Media; Photography; Fine Crafts and Pottery; Jewelry; Graphics/Drawing/Printmaking; and Textiles/Quilts/Needlework.

If you would like to participate, you can register online. The cost is $65.87 for artists and $44.52 for student artists.  Note: sales end on September 3rd. Vendor space is also available with the deadline being September 3rd as well.

Highland Park will also be hosting an Arts in the Park Youth Art Show on September 14th. This is an opportunity for young artists to show their work in an outdoor gallery style setting. Participants must be 18 years old or younger. All mediums accepted: sculpture, paintings, photography, etc.
