Gallery Episode presents "Expressions" Group Exhibition

(LEONIA, NJ) -- Gallery Episode presents "Expressions," a group exhibition that celebrates the diversity in ceramics as a medium, from October 4-25, 2024. Curated by artist Christina Kim, the exhibition showcases a vibrant collection of pottery from five exceptional artists, each sharing their unique voice and approach to working with clay.

The exhibition features the following five artists from the local New Jersey/New York area: Joyce Gamble, Christina Kim, Maria Lauren , Eileen Sackman, and Atsuko Watanabe. The pieces in the show reflect the artists' perspectives, deeply rooted in personal journey, beliefs, and cultural heritage. From traditional techniques to innovative experimentation, the collection features a diverse array of ceramic practices, including carving, surface decoration, sculpting, and wood-firing. The artists invite you to appreciate the various styles and the creativity expressed within this versatile medium.

“Expressions”  will open on October 4, with an opening reception on Friday, October 4th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The exhibition will be on view from October 4 to October 25, 2024 and is free and open to the public. Gallery Episode is located at 330 Broad Avenue in Leonia, New Jersey. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00am-6:00pm, and Saturday from 10:00am-5:00pm.

Gallery Episode is proud to showcase local artists located in the heart of Leonia, New Jersey. Shows are held regularly throughout the year and are open to the public. They welcome emerging and established artists to deliver thought-provoking solo and group shows, and community-building events that underscore social impact. As a partner to the local artistic community, they are committed to producing thoughtfully curated exhibitions that showcase original conceptual art and share compelling messages and unique perspectives. Their aim is to make art accessible to the general public, as well as collectors and institutions locally and nationally.

Skylands

Skylands Museum of Art presents Spotlight on the Artist: Massimo Rao

(LAFAYETTE, NJ) -- The Skylands Museum of Art presents a new fine art exhibition offering a Spotlight on the Artist: Massimo Rao, the Italian artist known for his classic yet somewhat mysterious painting style, opened Memorial Day weekend and will be on view through October 2025. The exhibition is on display in the museum's Sanctuary Gallery and highlights eight Rao works from the permanent collection, including oil and tempera paintings, lithographs and drawings, each of which serve to call attention to his unique creative perspective. Entrance to the Spotlight on the Artist is included with museum admission, a suggested donation of $10 per person.



Luke

Luke Jerram's Museum of the Moon to orbit Rahway in October

(RAHWAY, NJ) -- Museum of the Moon, a touring artwork by U.K. artist Luke Jerram, will be presented inside the majestic Union County Performing Arts Center (UCPAC) in October 2025. This is the first time Museum of the Moon will be presented in New Jersey and one of a handful of times it has been exhibited on the East Coast in the United States.



Lambertville

Lambertville Free Public Library presents "Everything's Fine"

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Starting October 11, 2025, the Lambertville Free Public Library will be exhibiting Everything's Fine, a series of surreal paintings about mental health by Gwenn Seemel (they/them) that came together over the course of several years. Seemel livestreamed the painting process from their studio, broadcasting the making of this art in real time and chatting with viewers as they worked.



Pollak

Pollak Gallery presents "Into the Wild" Art Exhibit by Eileen Kennedy

(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- Monmouth University's Pollak Gallery presents "Into the Wild" Art Exhibit by Eileen Kennedy from September 1 through October 25, 2005. Kennedy's narrative art explores the relationship between contemporary humans and the natural world. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

ACC Gallery presents Jaewon Kim solo exhibition

(TENAFLY, NJ) -- Jaewon Kim's solo exhibition will be held at ACC Gallery from October 6-25, 2025. This 13th solo show is her U.S. debut, continuing her long-standing exploration of "dreams."
