originally published: 06/30/2022

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Family-friendly entertainment is the star on the Main Stage at the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts this summer, with spectacular shows being offered as part of the CAMP (Community Arts and Music Programming) series. All CAMP shows are free, with limited tickets available to the public.

The shows include:

Friday, July 8 at 10:00am and 12:00pm - Doktor Kaboom! Look Out! Science is Coming! Doktor Kaboom (David Epley) takes his audience on an educational tour of the modern scientific method, using humor and comedy to demonstrate applications of the physical sciences. A sidesplitting journey of increasingly spectacular (and often successful) science experiments designed to involve, excite, educate, and entertain.

Wednesday, July 27 at 10:00am and 12:00pm - Twinkle Time. Award-winning kindie music phenomenon Twinkle presents her pop/rock/hip hop concert, Twinkle Time! featuring Twinkle’s distinct vocals and high-energy hip hop dancing, and backed by the sparkling sounds of her incomparable band.

Wednesday, August 3 at 10:00am and 12:00pm - The Amazing Max. Max Darwin combines magic and comedy in this hilarious live show, making objects appear and disappear and generally defying the laws of physics inches from theatergoers’ faces. This high-energy, interactive and all-around silly show is appropriate for audiences of all ages (recommended 3 & up) and is a perfect way to spend time with the entire family.

Tickets are free, but advance registration is required for all shows. For tickets, visit grunincenter.org. Groups should call 732-255-0400 ext. 2487 to reserve tickets. The Grunin Center is located on the Ocean County College Main Campus, College Drive, Toms River, New Jersey.
