(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Award-winning writer-actor-producer Tananarive Due, a contributor to Black Panther: Days of Wakanda and Black Panther: Sins of the King, will appear in the Ocean County Library’s Virtual Author Talk series on Wednesday, June 28. The event begins at 8:00pm.
Due will discuss her first new short fiction collection in seven years, The Wishing Pool and Other Stories, which is available at the Ocean County Library along with her previous solo and collaborative works in print, graphic novel, audiobook, and eBook formats.
The versatile author’s 16 published novels, short stories, and contributions to motion pictures and television exemplify her as a leading exponent of Black speculative fiction. She explores the literary genres of Black horror and Afrofuturism for students at UCLA.
Due has won the American Book Award, NAACP Image Award, and the British Fantasy award.
