(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Do you dream of being an author? Have you penned a book but are unsure what to do next? Make 2025 the year that you become a published writer. Seth Fishman, Vice President and Literary Agent of the Gernert Company, will shed light on the first stages of publishing during his Ocean County Library Virtual Author Talk on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. The event begins at 1:00pm.
During this special 90-minute web chat, Seth will explain the steps toward publication that begins once you’ve signed with a literary agent. He’ll describe what agents look for; how and when to submit your work to an agent; what to expect after the partnership begins; and what to anticipate before submitting your work to publishing houses, including the revision process. A full 30 minutes will be devoted to questions and answers.
