County College of Morris presents "In The Heights"

originally published: 10/21/2024

(RANDOLPH, NJ) -- The Marielaine Mammon School of Music, Performing Arts and Music Technologies at County College of Morris (CCM) presents this fall's musical In The Heights from November 6-9, 2024. The play is set in the lively Latino neighborhood of Washington Heights, Manhattan—where sweet coffee flows from corner bodegas, windows are always open and the air resonates with the rhythm of three generations of music.

“Featuring music and lyrics by the award-winning songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda, In The Heights tells the story of a vibrant New York City community,” said Director Marielaine Mammon, chairperson of the Marielaine Mammon School of Music, Performing Arts and Music Technologies at CCM. “Rhythmic melodies and Latin dances help tell the tale of love, hope and heritage."

Four energizing performances will be held, from Wednesday, November 6, to Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 7:30pm each evening, in Dragonetti Auditorium in the Student Community Center. General admission tickets are $15 each; CCM students, alumni, children under 12 and seniors 62 and over are $10 each. Tickets are available for purchase online.  A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the Campus Life window and at the Box Office.
