(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- Center Players will hold auditions for the original music production of Coyote on Sunday, March 3rd from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and Monday, March 4th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Auditions take place at Center Playhouse (35 South Street) in Freehold. The play features Music and lyrics by Tim McCorry; Book by Michael Aman and Tim McCorry.
In this timely love story, two immigrants separated by borders and dreaming of a better life, head north to America with the help of a mystical and complicated character known as Coyote.

Bring a headshot and resume if you have them. Be prepared to sing a song of your choosing. Bring sheet music or a track; an accompanist will be provided. Sides from the play will be provided. This performance in non-union, no pay.
Performances till take place July 19-28, 2024 - Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays & Sundays at 2:00pm.
LIST OF CHARACTERS: (All must be strong singers/actors/dancers. Latino preferred.)
Coyote: Male or female - 30’s-50’s. Charismatic, mischievous, shape-shifting, god-like being from the Aztec world. He plays multiple characters throughout.
Pedro: Young male - 20’s. Kind, brave, well-intentioned, and unsure of his destiny.
Bernadiz: Young female – 20’s. Young woman of great inner strength & determination.
Fatima: Female – 40’s-60’s. Pedro’s mother, a woman of great faith and kindness.
Additional Roles: Chorus. 6-10 strong singers/dancers. All Ages (10 and over) are welcome to audition. Voices needed: soprano, 2nd soprano, alto, tenor, baritone.

Pioneer Productions presents "Merrily We Roll Along"
(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Pioneer Productions presents Merrily We Roll Along, the groundbreaking musical by Stephen Sondheim with a book by George Furth. Based on the 1934 play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, the musical premiered in 1981 and has since become one of Sondheim's most daring and emotionally resonant works. The show will run weekends from June 19-June 28, 2026 at The Stage at Fellowship Hall, located inside the Morristown United Methodist Church.
