CDC Theatre presents "A Bronx Tale"

(CRANFORD, NJ) -- Get tickets now for a one weekend only special production of the musical A Bronx Tale from June 17-19 at CDC Theatre in Cranford. The play is a story about respect, loyalty, love, and above all else: family. Based on the critically acclaimed play that inspired the now classic film, this streetwise musical will take you to the stoops of the Bronx in the 1960s with all the pop styles of the time: Doo-wop, Frank Sinatra-style ballads, R&B and Motown.

The play features a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater. The production is produced by Joe Leo; directed by Sean Lough, and features choreography by Daraius Phillips; and music direction by Dan Wells. Dana Dispoto is the stage manager. Mark Reilly is the lighting director. And ​Liz Howard is in charge of costumes.

The cast includes: Evan Plaza (Calogero); Dan Maceyak (Sonny); Jason Cesare (Lorenzo); Viv Beckford (Jane); Loren Turner (Young C); Sofia Barrionuevo (Rosina); Daisha Davis (Denise); Brendan Garnett - Tyrone); Emmanuel Odekunle (Jesse); Frank Todisco​ - Tony Ten-to-Two); Tatum Thompson (Frieda); Vincent DeMeo (Crazy Mario/Doo-Wop Guy); James Hahn (Doo-Wop Guy/Ensemble); Michael Kidney (JoJo the Whale/Ensemble); Milena Lavin (Ensemble); Matt Marino (Eddie Mush/ Ensemble); Erin Milner (Ensemble); Robert Rasczyk (Frankie Coffeecake/Carmine); Skyler Reed (Handsome Nick/Doo-Wop Guy); Joanna Riley (Ensemble); Joseph Salerno (Sally); Slick/Ensemble); and Marisa Sigas (Ensemble).

Performances of A Bronx Tale take place June 17 and 18 at 8:00pm and June 19 at 2:00pm. Advance online tickets: $25 General Admission ($23 Seniors). At the door: $30 General Admission ($28 Seniors)
