
The cast of Little Women in rehearsal
(BORDENTOWN, NJ) -- The classic novel Little Women will be brought to life on stage on November 14th at 7:30pm and November 15, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Bordentown Performing Arts Center. This play, adapted by Thomas Hischak, will be performed by the award-winning theatre students of Bordentown Regional High School.
Adapted from Louisa May Alcott's beloved novel, Little Women follows the March sisters: ambitious Jo, motherly Meg, shy Beth, and fiery Amy as they grow up during the Civil War era, dealing with sisterly bonds, personal ambitions, societal expectations, and the challenges of their time. Under the guidance of their beloved mother, each girl strives to find her true self and live life on their own terms. Little Women will leave audiences filled with a sense of adventure, joy, heartache, and a lifting of the spirit.
Featured in the cast are Bordentown Regional High School seniors Brynn Bowyer (2024 Greater Philadelphia Cappie Award winner, Outstanding Leading Actress in a Musical), Sika Brenya, Gabriella Cuccia, Rylie Evans, Ceilidh Manigrasso, Rylan Phillips, Atlas Planas-Borgstrom (2025 Greater Philadelphia Cappie Award nominee, Outstanding Vocalist), Adam Pollard (2025 Greater Philadelphia Cappie Award nominee, Outstanding Leading Actor in a Musical), juniors Madelyn Jones, Benjamin Sexton, Kade Sutton, Peyton Todaro, sophomores Persephone Borsuk, Ava Dressel, Emilie Kelly, Arianaliz Rios and freshman Julianna Kelly.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students, and are available for purchase online. Tickets will also be sold at the door, cash only. The Bordentown Performing Arts Center is attached to Bordentown Regional High School, and is located at 318 Ward Avenue in Bordentown, New Jersey.
Bordentown Regional High School's musical, Legally Blonde, was awarded the prestigious Greater Philadelphia Cappie Award for Outstanding Musical in 2012, and their 2024 production of The Addams Family was honored with a nomination in the same category.
Over the past decade, the Greater Philadelphia Cappie Awards have honored BRHS Theatre performances with seventy-seven nominations and eighteen awards. The theatrical performances of BRHS have also been honored with awards and nominations from the New Jersey State Thespian Festival and the New Jersey Theatre Night Awards. Bordentown Regional High School is home to International Thespian Society Troupe 6803.
