Bordentown Regional High School Theater Club presents 2024 One Act Play Festival

(BORDENTOWN, NJ) -- The award-winning Bordentown Regional High School Theater Club is proud to present their 2024 One Act Play Festival on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 7:30pm in the Bordentown Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door. All proceeds benefit BRHS senior scholarships.

The 2024 BRHS One Act Play Festival is an evening of student directed short plays and includes performances from International Thespian Society Troupe 6803 members Brynn Bowyer, Sika Brenya, Candise Davis, Rylie Evans, Ryan Haje, Ceilidh Manigrasso, Addison Palmer, Rylan Phillips, Atlas Planas-Borgstrom, Adam Pollard, Jayde Rios, Kayla Stubenazy-Rose, Genevieve Schenone, River Skalski, and Gracie Tyler, as well as from Persephone Borsuk, Angela DeIeso, Ava Dressel, Aron Erdos, Austin Faison-West, John Heitzenroeder, Alexa House, Chinwe Ibe, Madelyn Jones, Emilie Kelly, Alexander Martucci, Andre McLaughlin, Emmary McLaughlin and Arianaliz Rios.

The evening will feature the premiere of Jayde Rios’ play The Wrong Alice in Wonderland, winner of  the 2024 BRHS One Act Playwriting Competition.

The 2024 One Act Plays are directed by Bordentown Regional High School students Brynn Bowyer, Rylie Evans, Atlas Planas-Borgstrom, Jayde Rios, and Genevieve Schenone, and are the directorial debuts of Sika Brenya, Candise Davis, Ryan Haje, Ceilidh Manigrasso, Joshua Moore, Addison Palmer, Adam Pollard, Sierra Struck, Kayla Stubenazy-Rose, and Gracie Tyler.

The production is assistant stage managed by Leah Eisele and run crew by Hazel Keleekai, with sound by Patrick Maszczak and Rayna Thalhauser and light board operation by Wren Magby.

The Bordentown Regional High School Theatre Club and Stage Crew are part of the International Thespian Society, an honor organization for students who excel in the theatrical arts. BRHS Thespian Troupe 6803 has produced students who are not only performers, but directors, designers, technicians, leaders, and community activists. Their annual season of dramas, comedies, children’s theatre, musicals, festivals, and one act plays have garnered BRHS numerous awards and nominations from the New Jersey State Thespian Festival, the International Thespian Festival, the New Jersey Theatre Night Awards, and the Greater Philadelphia Cappies Awards.
