originally published: 10/17/2025

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Twisted Livin', breakout New Jersey-based blues rock trio, make their performing debut at Atlantic City's premiere non-casino live music venue, Anchor Rock Club on Friday, November 7, 2025. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm. The Billy Walton Band will also perform.

"Very excited to play Anchor Rock Club," says TL guitarist-lead vocalist, Denny Shiffler. "I've heard so much about it.  I'm ready to pack the place and play my heart out."

"Beyond excited for the privilege and opportunity to share the stage at ARC with the Billy Walton Band," says TL bassist-saxophonist, Will Keiter. "To be able to stand alongside such respected musicians is something I don't take lightly. Moments like this remind me how lucky I am to be part of this music community."

Tickets are $23 and available for purchase online. Anchor Rock Club is located at 247 S. New York Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

"I used to go to Anchor Rock Club to see hardcore bands...can't wait to bring (Twisted Livin's) music to AC's best live music spot," says TL drummer, Bob Irwin.

Recently the trio has been busy in the studio recording their as-yet-unamed debut album. They also recently returned from Knoxville, Tenn, where they performed at a University of Tennessee tailgate party. In September, Twisted Livin' made their North2Shore performing debut at Hard Rock Casino's Sound Waves Theater before an ethusiastic crowd.

Guitarist-Vocalist Denny Shiffler is being hailed as one of the great new front-men in the blues; the band has been featured in their local area Atlantic City Press and The Sandpaper, and The Jersey Sound, among others. Their rhythm section (Will Keiter, bass/saxophone; Bob Irwin, drums) is solid. Keiter trades off vocals with Shiffler, and these guys jam.

People are taking notice -- including noted South Jersey promoter Carmen Marotta (Tony Mart) who hired the Somers Point-based band to open for a few of Tony Mart's big Legendary Concerts of the Beach series in Somers Point, including opening for legendary rocker Mitch Ryder in September.

Twisted Livin' formed in 2021 and has been gaining turning heads and gaining fans ever since, including nationally-known recording artists Billy The Kid and The Regulators (and) Joanna Connor, both big fans of Twisted Livin's dynamic guitarist, Denny Shiffler.

"Playing covers and original music, this band is capable of turning a quiet bar into a blues club during their set," wrote Ocean County Tourism.com. "Mixing the old with the new, Twisted Livin’ brings together generations through the feeling of their music, crafting an experience that lingers long after the last note is played."

Twisted Livin' guitar player Denny Shiffler comes from a strong musical family and background, having growing up with his cousins and father being in bands his entire life. Heavily influenced by renowned bluesman like Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, Robert Johnson, Albert King, Jimi Hendrix and John Lee Hooker, Shiffler's colorful, expressive playing and singing style packs a punch, setting the scene for what the band is trying to do, making it easy for people to truly enjoy and feel the music.

Will Keiter connects the low end to the high frequencies in Twisted Livin'. Coming from a jazz background, the multi-instrumentalist works to incorporate as much harmonic color in his creation of musical phrases as possible. Through learning the tendencies of his fellow players, it’s his primary motive to set the foundation for the ovrall sound of TL.

Drummer Bob Irwin provides the backbeat for Twisted Livin'. His main role is to keep the crowd dancing and secure a musical "home base" for his band-mates by keeping a solid, steady beat. Mainly influenced by classic rock, Irwin's style of playing supports the trio in a powerful way.
