(PILESGROVE, NJ) — Do you find the idea of waiting until midnight on New Year’s Eve to be a little less appealing than when you were younger? Auburn Road Vineyard & Winery in Salem County has the solution - “New Year’s Eve Party for People Who Can’t Stay Up Late” on Saturday, December 31st where the countdown happens at 9:00pm (Rio de Janeiro time).
While the New Year’s Eve festivities begin at 7:00pm, Auburn Road Vineyard & Winery opens at noon, offering wine, artisan cheese baskets, hot soup and more. Order a Ravello woodfired pizza, cozy up to a fire pit, make s’mores, and sip a Ruby Port hot chocolate as you pass the time in anticipation of ringing in the New Year!
The event includes: Movie Nite in the Vines: Charade with Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn, scored by Erik Marley Jazz Trio; a New Year’s Eve Countdown (on Rio de Janeiro time); and complimentary party favors from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
“Grape-growers are farmers, so getting up early is part of the process. We rarely stay up late,” said Julianne Donnini, co-owner and winemaker at Auburn Road. “We created our New Year's Eve Party for People Who Can't Stay Up Late in jest, but it was an immediate hit and has become an annual tradition.”
