(EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre brings Flamenco, Spanish Classical Dance & Music to the stage for an evening of power, passion, beauty, and joy on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Playhouse 22 in East Brunswick. Alborada is delighted to welcome back the wonderful Flamenco guitarist, Basilio Georges, Director of Flamenco Latino for the performance.  Showtime is 7:30pm.

The program includes audience favorites from Alborada’s repertoire and new works, featuring contemporary Flamenco and classical Spanish dance and music. With flying long Bata de cola ruffles, clicking castanets, pounding feet, strumming guitars, gorgeous costumes, and the passion and power of Flamenco, Flamenco y Más will delight audiences of all ages.

Tickets are $25 General Admission and $22 Seniors/Students. Tickets are available for purchase online. Playhouse 22 is located at 721 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick, New Jersey.

Through dance, drama and music, Alborada’s passionate artistry reveals the diverse and historical threads comprising the multicultural fabric of Spanish culture. Both entertaining and educational, the variety of its repertoire runs the artistic gamut of Spanish Flamenco and traditional dances, to Hispanic, Celtic, Moorish cultural influences and beyond. As stated by Tammy LaGorce, New York Times, Alborada is  “awhirl in drama and color”. For more on the company, visit www.alboradadance.org
