(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County College Repertory Theatre Company presents Doctor Frankenstein, a new play by George Allison that asks the question, "What if Mary Shelley got it wrong... on purpose?" Performances take place in the Black Box Theater at the Grunin Center for the Arts from Thursday, October 26 through Sunday, November 5, 2023. Paper Mill Playhouse presents "Fiddler on the Roof"
 

(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse presents the beloved musical Fiddler on the Roof, directed by Paper Mill Playhouse’s Producing Artistic Director Mark S. Hoebee, from December 6, 2023 – January 7, 2024 at Paper Mill Playhouse. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical, Fiddler on the Roof features a book by Joseph Stein, music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick. Paper Mill's production showcases the original Tony-winning choreography by Jerome Robbins, marking the first time Fiddler on the Roof will be seen on the Paper Mill stage in 40 years.

 



Middlesex College presents "John Proctor is the Villain"
 

(EDISON, NJ) -- Middlesex College presents John Proctor is the Villain by Kimberly Belflower with 6 performances between November 1-11 at the Performing Arts Center in Edison. The play takes place at a rural high school in Georgia, a group of lively teens are studying The Crucible while navigating young love, sex ed, and a few school scandals.

"Friends & Family," began Firefall's Jock Bartley, "Our manager Len Fico who is also our record label, he suggested to me and Mark Andes when Mark was still in the band and who has since retired before we started this record; he said, "You know, the original guys in Firefall, many of you played in other famous bands; why don't you do an album of just their material?" When he said that, the lightbulb went off in my head and I said, "That's great but why don't we expand that?"

Acclaimed Pianist Guy Mintus talks about life in Israel in advance of his October 29th benefit concert for Israel relief at Axelrod PAC
 

(DEAL PARK, NJ) -- Israeli pianist Guy Mintus and vocalist Naama Nachum will travel from Israel to perform a benefit concert at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center on Sunday, October 29, 2023 - sponsored by the Axelrod PAC and Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey. The event begins at 7:30pm.

 



RVCC to Present Concert Featuring New American Music, World Premiere of Professor's Song Cycle
 

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Raritan Valley Community College's Arts & Design department will present Paradoxides, a concert of vocal music, November 19, 2023 at 2:00pm. The event, which will feature bass-baritone Hans Tashjian and pianist Anna Keiserman, is part of the MOZAIKA Concert Series' current season. It will be held in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus.

 



Chris Stapleton's "All-American Road Show" to Come to Camden and East Rutherford
 
(CAMDEN, NJ) -- Chris Stapleton's "All-American Road Show" tour will have two performances in the area in 2024. Stapleton will be at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden on Thursday, June 6 with special guests Marcus King and Nikki Lane; and at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Saturday, June 8 with George Strait and special guest Little Big Town.

(STROUDSBURG, PA) -- Comedian Vic DiBitetto, also know as "The Italian Hurricane" is coming to the Sherman Theater on November 4, 2023. An incredibly powerful performer, DiBitetto churns energy, honesty and humanity into nonstop laughter. His pace is frenetic, and he's been called a cross between Rodney Dangerfield and Ralph Kramden. The bottom line is, DiBitetto leaves his audiences breathless with laughter. Showtime is 8:00pm.

Montclair Film and Shine Global Announce Partnership to Launch Student Filmmaking Prize for the Children's Resilience In Film Awards
 

(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Montclair Film and Shine Global has announced the launch of a new partnership that establishes two prizes for student filmmakers participating in Montclair Film Education's annual Emerging Filmmaker Competition (EFC) to participate in Shine Global's annual Children’s Resilience In Film Awards, beginning in 2024.

Ramapo College presents Juno Zago exhibition
 

(MAHWAH, NJ) -- A one-person exhibition by artist Juno Zago opens on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 5:00pm in the Berrie Center Pascal Gallery. There will be an opening reception from 5:00pm-7:00pm with an artist's talk at 6:00pm. The exhibition continues through December 12, 2023.

State Theatre New Jersey 2024 Benefit Gala features performance by Jay Leno

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey will host its annual Benefit Gala on Saturday, June 8, 2024. The gala, whose proceeds are essential for STNJ to continue to make world-class arts programming affordable and accessible to individuals from all ages and backgrounds in our diverse New Brunswick community and beyond, will take place at the historic State Theatre.
