Hudson Theatre Works presents a Workshop of "Dancing Lessons" by Mark St. Germain
 

(WEEHAWKEN, NJ) -- Hudson Theatre Works is starting its 2023-2024 season with a workshop of Mark St. Germain's, Dancing Lessons. Performances take place September 28th through October 1 at Theatre at the Wilson School. Entertaining and charming! The play introduces us to two highly offbeat characters, a Broadway dancer and a science professor coping with physical and emotional challenges as they forge an unexpected friendship in this heartfelt play.

 



Cape May Stage presents "The Garbologists"
 

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Cape May Stage presents The Garbologists by Lindsay Joelle from September 13 to October 22, 2023. Directed by Roy Steinberg, this is an unconventional buddy comedy play that follows two sanitation workers in the cab of a New York City garbage truck. Tasked with picking up what the world has discarded, they learn there's more that binds them than just picking up the trash.

Rachel Ana Dobken releases "Cruel, Cruel, Cruel"
 

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Multi-instrumentalist (drums, guitars, vocals, keys), songwriter and producer, Rachel Ana Dobken released the driving and melodic, "Cruel, Cruel, Cruel," on September 13th as the first single from her forthcoming 2024 LP, Acceptance. Dobken continues to win fans over with her electric and passionate live performances where she seamlessly leads her band from two positions while singing -- out front with her guitar and behind the drum kit.

 



The Newton Theatre presents From Good Homes
 

(NEWTON, NJ) -- New Jersey jam band legends, From Good Homes, will perform at The Newton Theatre on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 8:00pm.The genesis of the band dates back to a high school, when childhood friends Todd Sheaffer, Brady Rymer, and Patrick Fitzsimmons came together in rural, Northwestern New Jersey. With the addition of Dan Myers in 1988, and Jamie Coan in 1990, the band From Good Homes was fully formed.

8th Annual Indie Street Film Festival Takes Place This Week
 

(RED BANK, NJ) -- The eighth annual Indie Street Film Festival (ISFF), presented by Basie Center Cinemas, takes place September 13-17, 2023. ISFF 2023 will kick off at the Vogel theater with the NJ Premiere of I Like Movies, written and directed by Award-winning Canadian filmmaker Chandler Levack. The remainder of ISFF runs in person at Basie Center Cinemas (36 White Street, Red Bank, NJ). Feature-length films, short films, filmmaker Q&As, and panels with industry professionals will be presented.
