(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Get ready for a captivating, toe-tapping journey through the American South when Maurer Productions OnStage presents the Steve Martin and Edie Brickell musical Bright Star May 31-June 9, 2024 at the Kelsey Theatre on Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC) West Windsor Campus.

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- From the writer of the hit Broadway musical - and soon-to-be film franchise - Wicked and the beloved 90's TV series My So-Called Life, comes a new comedy that explores a woman's right to choose in decidedly unexpected, often hilarious, and ultimately thought-provoking ways. McCarter Theatre presents Choice by Winnie Holzman, directed by Sarah Rasmussen, from May 8 through June 2, 2024.

New Jersey Symphony Announces 2024 Edward T. Cone Composition Institute Composers
 

(NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Symphony presents the composers for the 10th Edward T. Cone Composition Institute on Monday, July 15 through Saturday, July 20 in Princeton, culminating in a public performance at the Richardson Auditorium in Princeton on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 8:00pm with guest conductor Christopher Rountree. The program will also include Institute Director Steven Mackey's Urban Ocean.

Newton Theatre Adds Second Vic DiBitetto Show
 

(NEWTON, NJ) -- His pace is frenetic. He holds no hostages. He says what you are thinking but are afraid to say out loud. The bottom line is this: Wear adult diapers if you are going to see Vic DiBitetto perform live. The popular comedian returns to The Newton Theatre for performances on Thursday, September 5 at 8:00pm and Friday, September 6, 2024 at 8:00pm. The Thursday show was added due to popular demand.

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Arts Council of Princeton is now accepting vendor applications for their second-annual yART sale to be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 9:00am-1:00pm. The yART sale is an outdoor, flea-market style opportunity for attendees to shop affordable work from local artists cleaning out their studios.

Bergen County Announces Return of Summer Movies & Concerts in the Park
 

Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Board of County Commissioners, and the County Parks Department announce the return of the Bergen County Movies and Music in the Park Summer Series. The series will feature 24 events at four locations across Bergen County beginning on July 10, 2024. All concerts and movies are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets for viewing.

Vivid Stage Presents Summer Solos Every Week in July at the Visual Arts Center of NJ

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage presents Summer Solos readings every week from July 1-24, 2024 at the Visual Arts Center of NJ at 68 Elm Street in Summit. Performances in the series will take place on the lawn of the Arts Center at 6:30pm.​​​​​​​ Patrons are invited to bring chairs or blankets and a picnic dinner.
