(MOORESTOWN, NJ) -- Moorestown’s Juneteenth Celebration will take place on the Perkins Center for the Arts West Evergreen Lawn on Saturday, June 17 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Perkins Center for the Arts, Moore Unity, and Curate Noir, have collaborated to support a family-friendly day featuring inspirational music, African dance and drumming, food, educational presentations, and offerings from local Black-owned businesses.
Join them as they honor and celebrate the day ALL people living in the US, including formerly enslaved Black people, were granted freedom. As we come together as a community to commemorate emancipation, we also dream our future and work toward the progress we still need to make as a nation.
