2nd Annual Camden Youth Art Festival to Take Place May 10th

(CAMDEN, NJ) -- The Bridges Teen Program proudly presents the 2nd Annual Camden Youth Art Festival - a celebration of creativity and community on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Join them for an unforgettable day filled with art and fun, highlighting the area's youth artists of all artistic mediums! The event runs from noon to 4:00pm.

What to Expect:

Art Exhibits: Explore the stunning artwork of Bridges program students, youth artists, and premier local artists and organizations.

Interactive Activities: Engage your creativity with art activities and a community arts project.

Variety of Art Forms: Discover a diverse range of art forms, including visual art, digital art, pottery, sculpture, fashion design & more.

Community Engagement: Connect with local organizations, explore community resources and enjoy games, food trucks, cooling stations and refreshments.

Last year they had more than 20 arts vendors, arts activities, games, a variety of food, live performances, a crowd rocking fun DJ, 150+ patrons in attendance, including the Mayor, City Council members, local artists, arts organizations, arts lovers and more!

Why It Matters:

The Camden Youth Art Festival serves as a fundraiser to support the Bridges Teen Program, providing a safe and empowering space for teens aged 13 to 18 in the Camden area. Help them nurture creativity and inspire the next generation of artists! This event will highlight youth of all ages, including young adults. They will also feature established adult artists and art advocates in a variety of exhibits.

Be a Part of It: They invite artists, vendors, arts organizations and sponsors to join them in making this event a success! Your support will provide art supplies, exhibit display equipment, tables & chairs, food, beverages and financial assistance to the Bridges teen program. Volunteers needed too! They are also looking for sponsors!

Admission: Donation of any amount (Donation can be paid at the door or in advance.)

Vendor Fees: Youth Art Vendor: $5; Adult Art Vendor: $15; Arts Organizations Vendor/Community Resource Vendor: $15; Non-Arts Vendor/Food: $20. Register online.

Tables will be available upon request, tables are limited and are on a first come first served basis. If you have a table please feel free to bring it. Theywill provide a location map a week before the event to inform vendors of their set up area. Vendors and exhibits will be set up indoors and outdoors. Outdoor vendors are welcome to bring a tent. Bathrooms are available for patrons.

(UNION, NJ) -- American Theater Group (ATG), in partnership with the New Jersey Creative Arts Collaborative (NJCAC) and the new Union Arts Center will present Juneteenth: A Celebration of Liberation at the DMK Stage at the Union Arts Center (1980 Morris Avenue) in Union on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 7:00pm. It will be an inspirational evening of music, dance, poetry, and more.

2025 Princeton Festival to Take Place June 6-21

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) has announced its performance line-up for this year's Princeton Festival, New Jersey's premier performing arts festival, taking place June 6-21, 2025 on the beautiful grounds of Morven Museum & Garden. The performing arts showcase includes chart-topping hits of music icons, superstar soprano Renée Fleming, songs by Sondheim, a tumultuous opera by Giacomo Puccini, an evening of dance, music of Vivaldi and the Motor City, plus a joy-filled finale featuring the music of ABBA. A Baroque concert and violin recital take place at nearby Trinity Church.

SSAAM presents Juneteenth 2025: Stories of Freedom

(SKILLMAN, NJ) -- The Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum (SSAAM), Central New Jersey's only museum sharing the history of African Americans in our region since the trans-Atlantic Slave trade, will hold its fourth annual Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The event runs from 12:00pm to 4:00pm (rain or shine).

Boots & BBQ Festival Fundraiser for Our Stable Life

(LEONIA, NJ) -- Grab your boots & hat and head on down to Bergen Equestrian Center located at Overpeck Park for a Boots & BBQ Festival presented by Discover Line Dance on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 5:00pm-9:00pm. This is a fundraiser for Our Stable Life which is Bergen Equestrian’s Equine Therapy Program and is $25 per person (kids under 12 are free.) All proceeds to benefit "Our Stable Life."

The David Drumgold Pride Variety Show to Return to The Puffin Cultural Forum

(TEANECK, NJ) -- To commemorate Pride month, The David Drumgold Variety Show returns to Teaneck's Puffin Cultural Forum for a special one-night-only Pride edition on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 7:00pm. The show hearkens back to the variety shows of the 60s & 70s, like The Carol Burnett Show, The Flip Wilson Show, and The Cher Show, offering good old-fashioned talent, cheer, and escapism.
