1st Ugly Pancake Comedy Festival

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Ugly Pancake Productions presents its 1st Ugly Pancake Comedy Festival September 29-30, 2023 at several venues with over 30 comics performing! The festival is more than just performances, there are free events, ticketed events, a comedy panel, and headshots for comics. Joe Borzotta and Angelo Gingerelli have booked 100s of comics throughout NJ  and NY together and separately over 10 years in shows, open mics, and fundraisers and formed Ugly Pancake Productions to facilitate those events.

Friday, September 29 at 8:00pm - Ugly Pancake Showcase w 10 Comics @ Wild Air Beerworks, 801 2nd Ave/Main St, Asbury Park  (21 and over)

Saturday, September 30 at Noon - The Midday Open Mic @ Jersey Shore Arts Center, 66 South Main St, Neptune (Ocean Grove entrance), 3rd Floor Cafe - Free

1:30pm-3:00pm - Headshots for Comics - @ JSAC - Studio #22 Pre-register

3:00pm-4:00pm - Comedy Club Panel with Ray Gootz of Carolines in NY, Joe Borzotta, and Angelo Gingerelli - Free

8:00pm - The Main Event @ The Showroom Cinema, 707 Cookman Ave, Asbury Park w Vishnu Vaka, Ray Gootz, and The Garden State Guyz

There are three types of tickets available: All Events - $25, Showcase Only - $10, or Main Event Only - $20. Tickets are available for purchase online.

Ugly Pancake Productions presents stand-up comedy shows, open mics, showcases and more. You can also purchase Ugly Pancake hats and t-shirts. They've done comedy fund-raisers for several charities and are available to do one for your organization. Ugly Pancake presents the best talent from NJ, NY and Philly. Hosts Angelo Gingerelli and Joe Borzotta perform throughout the area, host open mics, do podcasts, make films, are authors, and don't sleep enough.
