(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Originally scheduled for the end of September, but postponed due to flooding in Asbury Park, Ugly Pancake Productions presents its 1st Ugly Pancake Comedy Festival November 10-11, 2023.
The festival kicks off Friday, November 10th at Wild Air BeerWorks (801 2nd Ave/Main St) in Asbury Park with a Showcase featuring 10 comics (21 and over). It continues on Saturday at noon with a free Mid-Day Mic at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (66 So Main St, Neptune), And the festival grand finale is 8:00pm in Asbury Park at The Showroom AP (707 Cookman Ave) for The Main Event starring The Garden State Guyz, Ray Gootz, Josh Can't Rap, host Roro Antonuccio, and WFMU guest DJ Glen Jones.
Hosts Joe Borzotta and Angelo Gingerelli have booked 100s of comics from NJ and NY and made this more than just a performance fest, Ugly Pancake Prod. is also offering headshots for comics and a webinar "Social Media Marketing for Creatives" at a later date.
Tickets are $10 for the showcase and $15 for the main event. Tickets are available for purchase online.
