(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County Library Toms River Branch presents Shore-based artist Amanda Santomenna’s exhibit, “Vibrant Empath Art,” in the McConnell Gallery throughout the month of December. Visitors will view Amanda’s poured acrylic creations on various sizes of canvas.
The display represents a new direction for Amanda, who maintains an active Instagram following.
“My art used to be very much in the lines and cautious,” she said. “Eventually, I decided I wanted to let the paint just fall off the canvas and that it was OK to be messy. I wound up fully embracing that.”
Amanda added, “I see art everywhere, especially with space, so a lot of my paintings are inspired by space.”
The exhibit is free and open to the public during normal Branch operating hours. No registration is required. The Branch is at 101 Washington Street. For more information, call (732) 349-6200.
