United Passaic Organization Celebrates 60 Years with Inaugural "Fall Swing 2024" Golf Outing

(PASSAIC, NJ) -- United Passaic Organization (UPO) is thrilled to announce its 1st Annual Golf Outing, "Fall Swing 2024," set to take place on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the prestigious Preakness Valley Golf Course in Wayne, NJ. This exciting event marks a significant milestone as UPO celebrates 60 years of service as part of the Community Action Partnership, dedicated to transforming lives, impacting communities, and connecting resources throughout Passaic and surrounding areas.

"UPO’s golf outing will serve as a multi-faceted tool for our non-profit organization to raise funds for new and current community programming, build connections, and increase our visibility and support within the community," United Passaic Organization Chief Executive Officer Dr. Janelle C. Hall said.

The golf outing promises a day filled with fun activities, including breakfast, lunch, a putting contest, and an awards ceremony. Registration begins at 7 AM, with the shotgun start kicking off at 9 AM. Participants can look forward to an enjoyable day on the greens while supporting UPO's mission to provide low-income families with restorative resources for sustainable living.

Sponsorship Opportunities: Businesses, organizations, and individuals are invited to partner with UPO through various sponsorship opportunities, including presenting sponsorship, putting contest sponsorship, and lunch sponsorship packages. Through active advocacy, United Passaic Organization (UPO) provides low-income families with equitable opportunities by offering resources that promote sustainable living. The mission of UPO is to build and partner with people throughout Passaic and surrounding communities to elevate families and help fortify their next steps into a better life. UPO operates under three core pillars: Transform, Impact, and Connect.

* Transform: UPO redefines assistance by creating a welcoming and secure environment where clients can achieve a higher quality of life.

* Impact: UPO measures program effectiveness through client engagement and Community Needs Assessments, ensuring services are impactful and purposeful.

2025 Princeton Festival to Take Place June 6-21

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) has announced its performance line-up for this year's Princeton Festival, New Jersey's premier performing arts festival, taking place June 6-21, 2025 on the beautiful grounds of Morven Museum & Garden. The performing arts showcase includes chart-topping hits of music icons, superstar soprano Renée Fleming, songs by Sondheim, a tumultuous opera by Giacomo Puccini, an evening of dance, music of Vivaldi and the Motor City, plus a joy-filled finale featuring the music of ABBA. A Baroque concert and violin recital take place at nearby Trinity Church.

(SKILLMAN, NJ) -- The Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum (SSAAM), Central New Jersey's only museum sharing the history of African Americans in our region since the trans-Atlantic Slave trade, will hold its fourth annual Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The event runs from 12:00pm to 4:00pm (rain or shine).

(LEONIA, NJ) -- Grab your boots & hat and head on down to Bergen Equestrian Center located at Overpeck Park for a Boots & BBQ Festival presented by Discover Line Dance on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 5:00pm-9:00pm. This is a fundraiser for Our Stable Life which is Bergen Equestrian’s Equine Therapy Program and is $25 per person (kids under 12 are free.) All proceeds to benefit "Our Stable Life."
